Suzette Miller-

I went into the teaching profession due in large part to the fact that I had such wonderful, dedicated teachers as I was going through school in Minidoka County.  I have been an educator for twenty three years, twelve of those years teaching kindergarten and also seventh thru ninth grade.  I have been a principal for the last eleven years, first at St. Nicholas Elementary and now at Acequia.  The absolutely best thing about my job is that it changes…….daily and most importantly, I get to spend my days with dedicated teachers, caring staff, and delightful children.  Being around kids is so much fun and they teach ME ……everyday!   My hobbies include reading, cooking, spending time with friends and most certainly my three boys, Johnny (husband) and Kody (16 yr old son) and Chipper ( our little dog).  I feel so fortunate to live in this community surrounded by wonderful people and beautiful scenery.   I read a quote the other day that I really loved and it said……..”The best way to predict the future is to create it!”  I believe that is so true, not only as an educator, but as a productive citizen in any community.  I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful school and I can honestly say that I truly love my job!
