We would like to thank all the Parents that helped out at the Christmas Party. It was a big success and the kids really enjoyed it.
The Book Fair was a huge success. Thank you parents and grandparents for your participation in our first fund raiser for the year. The dinner and entertainment evening was very enjoyable. We have some very talented children in our school.
The Valentine’s Party will be on February 12th at 2:30. Those of you that signed up to help will be contacted shortly for your assignments.
The carnival will be on March 5th. Dinner will be from 5:30 to 6:30 and the carnival games will start at 6:00 and go to 8:00. There will be a raffle and auction starting around 7:00. Parents, if you are interested in helping at this fun night please contact a member of the CPT. Each grade or class will be making an item for the auction. Parents if you are willing to help with this project please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
Thanks again for all you do to make our school a big success.

Character Trait of the Month
Acequia’s character trait for February is fairness and justice. We recognize the uniqueness of each individual and their value.
The character trait for March is trustworthiness and integrity. A person of character is honest, reliable, and loyal.
ATTENTION: In order to ensure the safety of your children-ALL VISITORS-must sign in at the office. Whenever you are in the building please stop at the office first.
If you are checking your child out of school early, they will not be allowed to leave the classroom unless they are called down to the office and signed out for the remainder of the day.
After School Pick Up– Please do not pick your children up from their bus lines. Go to the office or call ahead and Mrs. Condie can radio the teachers on duty to send your children to the parent drop off location at the west end of the school.
THE BEST 20 MINUTES OF EVERYDAY IS SPENT READING TO YOUR CHILD. HAVE YOUR
